Danielle E. Pizzo, APRN,FNP-C
Danielle is a certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the Florida Board of Nursing and a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Danielle has been a Registered Nurse since 2009 and started her advanced practice in 2020.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Rhode Island, where she graduated with Cum Laude honors. Danielle earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors.
Danielle is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of healthcare fields including primary care, urgent care, infectious disease, and women’s health.
Danielle knew from a young age that she wanted to be a nurse. She wanted to put her caring and compassionate personality to use. Danielle is experienced in caring for women of all ages, and in all stages of life. Danielle is very passionate about providing all women with comprehensive, compassionate, holistic, patient-centered care. She is always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that her patients receive the best possible care.
Danielle is married to her husband Stephen and a proud mom of two sons Dante and Domenic. She moved to Florida to be closer to family and to enjoy the sunshine and beaches. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, shopping, cooking, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with family and friends. Danielle is beyond excited to have found her professional home with the GYN Women’s Centre of Lakewood Ranch.
